Sebastian Tweed: The Lazarus Machine
So it was finally announced today. My agent, Ginger Clark, sold the first two Sebastian Tweed books to Lou Anders at PYR. I’m thrilled to be working with Lou and PYR. They really do some of the coolest books around.
Here’s the blurb taken from the Curtis Brown catalog:
SEBASTIAN TWEED: THE LAZARUS MACHINE is the first book in this steampunk mystery-adventure that takes place in...

The first one is here: Caedryn Reborn.
The second series is slightly different. An exploration of the world of Rift, seen thorugh the eyes of a traveling scribe and his...

Guillermo Del Toro leaves The Hobbit
So Guillemo Del Toro has left The Hobbit after two years of pre-production, citing the ongoing problems and delays at MGM as the reason for his departure. I’m a bit sad about that. I was looking forward to Del Toro’s take on the book. Pan’s Labyrinth is a glorious movie, both emotionally and visually, and the Hellboy movies are great fun, stuffed with action and humour.
So who...

This brought a smile to my Monday morning. I cannot begin to describe how much I hate the new Ewok song they used in the new cuts of Star Wars. (I still sometimes refer to “Cannonball” by The Breeders - one of the best songs ever! - as the Ewok song because of the opening. If you don’t know what I mean, track down the song and have a listen.

So mattcave was saying he is not sure what to use Tumblr for. At the moment he is using it for uploading pics to twitter, which is what I will be using it for till I can figure out where it fits in with my social networking and to see if it will integrate with my website. (I can probably just create an offsite link for my blog that directs here.)
I think I will find it more useful if I actually...
